First Goal

My first goal is to just drop some damned weight.

If I get fitter, stronger, faster or anything else along the way that’s cool and all. But loss of mass is the main goal.

I somewhat arbitrarily picked an event I plan to attend in September as my time horizon for this. I then completely arbitrarily picked a goal weight of 91.9 kg (aka: below 92 kg). This is based on previously having a triathlon racing weight of about 88 kg and so backing that off a bit. Which I guess isn’t entirely arbitrary.

However I did pick the target weight before even checking my starting weight. I weighed myself the following morning and my official starting weight was 101.6 kg. So I’ve given myself roughly 16 weeks to drop 9.7kg or about 21lbs.
